I keep working too late and missing it... or forgetting. Has anyone figured out how to do one of those zoom video meetings? Are they a secure way of communicating? I have heard about families using it during this Covid thing so they can stay in touch from across the miles. Would having a Zoom video chat make it more popular or easier to use? I know I type slow, so talking might be easier??? Just a thought. Someone like Bob should determine if that would work. Certainly there is so much to learn from our experts. Any chat opportunity that I had participated in was full of helpful information. No matter how new someone is, just jump in there... we all have common threads and that is likely why we are members of this group.

With my hectic lifestyle it's hard to squeeze in an extra hour. Pretty soon I'll have to think about retiring from retirement.

With all that boating and fishing, looks like you have no time for chat lol. That’s the goal to get work done so we can boat. Looks like the Loui Frego bridge in that one picture. I probably spelled that wrong. That is the bridge that had one support pier sink 2 feet some years back and had to be closed until fixed. I tow my old boat over that Bridge when I go to the Sturgeon Bay Show. Kind of freaky when you think about it. Think about joining chat 63 Sabre... we need the expertise of old salts with lots of restoration experience.!

Close but no cigar. The name is Leo Frigo bridge :)
Nice guy, we were on our parish council together back in the 70's. A pillar our community. Yep that's the bridge that started to sink. The other pictures are the open waters of Green Bay. Now you can see why the Tomahawk was not a good boat for the open water, That boat could not take anything other than flat calm.

Hey guys I want to apologize in advance, I'm probably not going to make the chat. I have to drive to NC and help move my daughter and son-in-law to KY. I'll have to catch up with ya next week.

Bob

Safe travels Bob! Work is too busy to make chat until fall likely. I knew I had that bridge name wrong. That is quite the bridge... and crazy how they raised that piling back up 2 feet. That’s pretty big water, so no wonder the tiny Tomahawk would not like windy days. It loved that smooth river we were on.

I work alone day after day and seldom have a clue what day of the week it is. By the time I remembered the chat, it was Thursday.

Quite understandable Jan. I worked 12 hour swing shifts for 38+ years. Only knew it was a new month when the night shift started over. After 16 years of retirement age sets in. The day of the week doesn't matter much anymore. Good thing my med container has the days listed otherwise I'd have to check the writing on my skivvies.
