TOPIC: Can someone identify this Fiberglassic?

Can someone identify this Fiberglassic? 5 years 1 month ago #141315

I came across this Fiberglassic, but what is it? Owner says it's a Flying Finn, but I don't think so. Ideas anyone? Thank you in advance!

Nah, it's just a white boat with snow in the background. Sorry I couldn't resist. Check the size of your pic, the site won't take large file size pics.

Whatever it is, it has nice lines and it's well worth restoration.

If you can find out the registration number, trace it with the DNR and see what the boat was called when it was last registered. I'm still trying to figure out why the owner thought it was necessary to white-out the registration number on the photo...a possible red flag?

Also, if you hit "insert all" after you load your photos, they will appear in the text of your post.

Yep I agree, nice lines , worth restoring. I have to say I'm not sure of the make though. Now that there's pics, others much smarter than me can n jump in.

Thank you for your help. I'm picking up the boat today & the owner has the registration, but says he remembers it to be a Flying Finn (it looks nothing like a Flying Finn according the the library). Another suggestion said that the marina's back in the day just assigned a name to a boat & sold it, especially if it was pre-owned. Anyhow, I whited out the reggi # because I did not want to get the owner upset that I had put a post on the internet when I don't even have the boat yet. Someone said it might be a Parsons Lake 'n Sea, but it does not seem to have that hull configuration & decorative side either. All I know is I had to save this Mystery Fiberglassic from going to the dumps!!!! If anyone else has any thoughts, please share! Thank you again!

Nice trim lines and color scheme. Hopefully someone will have an idea.
