Cal...My chick likes to go fast. Two years ago, she wanted a pontoon boat. Bought one. She hated it. I sold that motorized raft and bought the Chris Craft 25. Too big. This ought to do the trick and for what I paid, I can't possibly lose money.

Nice! I like the size and for sure love the style. Suitable for many different sized bodies of water. Do they make sunglasses to match that cool windshield?

I searched Torque Shift Prop on eBay. I wonder if it would work well on your boat. I think this one is the 11 - 26 pitch range. I run the other model which starts at 14 pitch and can swing out to 32 pitch. Hole shot on mine is amazing and then can up ship variably so that I can get good speed and cruise at much lower rpm. I saved just over $300 in gas in one summer over my 21 pitch ski prop because it was like having both a small ski prop and a big speed prop. Shifts smoothly and variably... not like the Merc 2 speed prop, though I did just look up a boat like yours with that Merc 2 speed on it. It was designed for boats that can benefit from smaller pitched power props, yet have enough motor and speed to over rev the small fixed prop. I think there are still old torque shift videos comparing 2 identical inboardoutboards that show the quicker hole shot. Fun prop that I have run over a decade.

I learn something every day! I had never heard of a torque shifting propeller. However, that hole shot would send my wife into an asylum. Also, we don't ski or race so a hole shot is pretty much a moot point. I do plan to tweek the engine a little and bolt on some of my retro accessories to make things a little prettier. Down here in SC, there's still plenty of boating left for at least two more months.

That makes sense not throwing passengers around... especially your number 1. I am sure the 7.4 liter is no slouch. After a few videos, I saw how that exhaust exits which was pretty cool. Really like that boat. Happy boating!

There's a cool Donzi owners site that has links to owners manuals, pictures, etc.

A quick hole shot isn't really needed when you can wipe anyone out a minute later on top end.
Be careful, you will spill your beer.

I gave her a name that was age-appropriate:

Good name. Be careful, it will tend to steer port all the time.

I really like the lines on this boat; that along with the color combo gives her a really neat and clean look. This is the type of boat that has staying power, holding value and continued desirability. A smart choice!
