TOPIC: 68 Glastron Crestflite V-170

This classic boat thing has its hooks in me. Its a 68 Glastron Crestflite V-170 with a Johnson Golden Meteor 100. Found this yesterday afternoon on CL in town where I live, called, and this morning when I got off work signed the paperwork. Haven't got it home yet. tires were shot, so removed them and dropped at Les Schwab for new shoes. Will pick them up tomorrow morning after work and get her home. The next victim after the Wayne 100. Got to go to bed...have to work tonight...but too excited to sleep.

Great that should be a fun project!

I always liked the look and sound of those. Robust looking trailer with nice big tires. That should tow nicely.

After some bearing checks on the trailer got it home. The trailer did tow like a dream. Didn't even know it was back there
I did find a weak spot in the floor that will have to be fixed, but other than that and replacing the other non structural wood, it is in excellent shape.
