TOPIC: Glasspar Seafair Parts

Would anyone know where I could find some windshield frame parts for a 1960 Seafair Phaeton. Need the support brackets and glass. Probably will have to have the glass made I would imagine. Thanks

If you need real glass (safety glass) you can have almost any glass shop cut the pieces for you but if you need plexiglass Brett at The Plastic Guy in Sacramento Ca.

The Phaeton is a real pretty boat and rare compared to the other Seafairs.


I thought that any Seafair windshield would replace what you need but I looked at some photos and can see that the Phaeton framing is unique compared to other Seafairs.


The posts appear to be the same but the top casting and top channel are different. Looks like the the casting have tabs for the convertible top latchs. The top channel appears to be rubber and probably creates a seal when the top is closed.

Thanks... what I need is the center windshield support and one side support. If anyone would know of someone with these old Glasspar parts it will be most appreciated. Will probably have to have the glass made. I’ve had Brett at The Plastics Guy make a windshield for another restoration. He does great work.
