TOPIC: Chrome shop in NJ

Chrome shop in NJ 5 years 5 months ago #140201

Can anyone recommend a good place to get pieces re-chromed in NJ? I hear there are a lot of bad shops out there and I don't want to get involved with a shady operation.

While we're talking chrome - it seems not all the metal on my boat was chrome. Specifically the runners along the fins seen in this picture. They definitely feel like aluminum. very soft and pliable. Are they aftermarket? I can't see any runners in the original marketing materials (which I found on this site).

Hey Bud,

Talk to Terry Meetz at Custom Plating
customplatingspecialist.com/

That strip is probably aluminum and can be polished.
