TOPIC: Berlin, WI Aug 9-11

Annual Berlin Boat Club corn roast weekend. I'll be launching in New London on Friday morning & making the 72 mile trip, staying till Sunday then heading back.
This year's ride will be my 70 Searay.

I guess I capsized enroute!

I was going to say it floats better right side up. Saturday is the lake Kosh show so I'll be there.

I work this weekend. Should be plenty of water on Koshkonong. (As well as everywhere else)

I'll be heading out from New London early Fri the 8th.
Just got back from the Mississippi River. Launched at Red Wing and headed about 45 miles down. Stopped in Wabasha & Alma. Overnighted in island about 5 miles below lock 4.

You are getting down to my territory now. Our family cottage is a mile or so south of Lock 6 on the Minnesota side. I live in La Crosse just south of Lock 7. You are in a beautiful stretch of river. All of the little towns like Alma, Fountain City, and Trempeauleau are great little river towns. I grew up on this stretch of river and there is nothing better!
