The Glacier Lakes Chapter ACBS "at the Waterline" newsletter recently published a story on a visit to our friend Bill Anderson's museum. The article is very well written with great pictures and thanks to the Glacier Lakes editor Wil and Cliff for sharing.

See link to Glacier Lakes ACBS "at the Waterline" Pages 5-7

Bill has a world class collection and I was fortunate to have visited some years back and took a few pictures. Here is just a samplig of the crazy cool stuff down there in Hudson IL.

The sign reads "Bills Cars & Trailers" but we all know Bill is all about the boats.

Ok! There is a car, and a trailer with a boat. 1959 Chevy Impala pulling a 1960 Tee Nee trailer with the Reinel and the big Mercury 800DR. Uh-Huh, the "Tower of Power"

1959 Reinell Jet Flight powered by Merc 400.

1959 South Seas Samoan with twin Merc 1000's

Gotta love the motor mounted stern lights.

A custom touch

Quite a sight.

I almost forgot the best shot. Baby Bill in his Pops arms at what appears to be a very high rate of speed.

Thanks Bill.

Terry

Awesome thanks for sharing Terry! Bill's a great guy and some day I hope to make it to see his collection in person. For now I'm just going to have to look forward to seeing him at Mount Dora next Spring. ;)

I sold Bill a Feathercraft a couple of years ago, toured his place and then we went out to lunch. Bill is a prince of a fellow and was very knowledgeable on anything to do with a boat or engine. I was like a kid in a candy store...he even let me take some pictures of his collection. If your anywhere close to his place it's well worth the drive to see in person. You will not be disappointed............Rob
