TOPIC: Cracked Plexiglass

I pulled my cracked and separated plexiglass windshield this past weekend. I intended to fuse it back together with cyanoacrylate but what I found is that the decades of heat, cold, sun etc. have slightly warped the two sides enough that the edges don't fit cleanly together top to bottom. Would I be better off using a clear epoxy that will fill the spaces or is there some better way to do this?

Maybe some careful work with a heat gun could work it back into shape.
