That is a good question about the 3D printing. It seems I am often seeing on the news about local high schools and tech schools doing 3D printing. I wonder if you could inquire locally to see if a high school tech education program would be looking for small items like this for educational purposes. Perhaps you could both benefit from them taking on your project for free. Not sure if someone then can make a mold that you could have a Babit (sp?)or Aluminum cast poured of that piece(s) based on making the mold from their 3D printing?
