TOPIC: 63 Evinrude 60 outboard. Forward lock spring

My 1963 Evinrude 60 horse will not go in forward easily. I found that the (not sure what it's called) spring lock was broken. I need to find another but don't know what it's called. Does anyone know?

If you look for your motor on www.marineengine.com you can usually find the actual part number which will make your internet searches much easier.

I found the part name. It's called a shift, detent spring. I have not been able to find the part number. Or where to buy it.

If it came on that motor originally it will be in the parts diagram at MarineEngine.com and the part number will be listed below the diagram
