TOPIC: Free Boats

Someone told me about these so I drove by and had a look and took some pics. One has the "fins" that people like so I thought I had better put em on here incase someone wants em. 2 Free boats. These are in Bloomingdale Michigan (southwest michigan, 49026 zip).

I wish someone would tell me why there are FREE Whitehouse boats elsewhere & I cannot find a finned WH anywhere here; WH was always a Texas-built boat. (I haven't seen a finned WH for sale here in 3 decades or more.) yours, satx |

HOW well that I understand that. = A guy here in town GAVE AWAY a 1965 OMC 75 HP that had less than 200 hours total use yesterday PM & that would have been great on a boat/trailer that I have "squirreled away". = I called him ten minutes after he posted it to craigslist and 8 people had called before me. He told me that it ran FINE but was "in my way".= !@#$%! yours, satx |

satx.....we have a fined whitehouse in the glassifieds....I think it's a 58...any way to tell what year it is for sure???

I think that it may be a 1960-61, though I am FAR from sure. (A friend had one of those in my HS days/DAZE & it seems to me that it was bought new in 1962 as a "held over" '61. yours, satx |

I got lucky the other day a neighbor and friend gave me a boat the other day. Not sure what it is but he told me it has a 180 hp Volvo penta stern drive with three carbs. It has been stored in a barn with a tarp over a boat cover. He could not remember what make the boat is he told me when we both had some time we would go out and get it. Should be a fun day.

Well I really didnt need any more junk boats in my yard but I just took the tractor and trailer over there and saved the Whitehouse from the garbage truck (was gonna get cut up and hauled away after this weekend). More stuff to mow around...............
