TOPIC: 1959 plastyle 400

I found a 59 plastyle butt I can't find an ID tag butt I did find the #1312 stamped on the engine mounting plate.

Any help would be great

Very little is known about Plastyle 400. They were a very short lived boat builder.

There is some very cursory information in the Classic Library here.

I just located an article from the June 1958 issue of "The Boating Industry" magazine about Plastyle. It discusses how they made their boats. In one picture you can see about 8 boats in various stages of produciton in their factory.

I will scan it soon and post it to the Library.
