Well it rained most of the weekend here and finally stopped enough to try and go out today but the boating gods just laughed at me! But I did manage to get the Bimini back on the Clipper, Woo Hoo!!!!!! Yes the snap that needed repair is not in the original position so I'll have to remedy that. I also have to get some Velcro straps to keep it bound up instead of the nylon string that I'm using now. That's a stop gap.

There's still a slight bend on the port side, that you can probably see but it works just fine and a lot cheaper than the almost $350 dollars I was quoted for a stainless one! I'll try and get some picks of the repairs when I have her out again. If it ever stops raining here!

Waterwings,

Well, you could live here in South Texas, where we really NEEDED both boats & waterwings for the last 6 weeks or so.
So far Bexar County has gotten more rain in about 30 days than in all of 2014.

SATX, we're no where near what you guys have been getting, it's just aggravating as heck when you can't go out on your days off cus' it's raining!

John, thanks she's ready to go, now if I can just get on the water this year!!! New boat cover doesn't fit so I have to get back with Vortex and get one that works. :( Not a good finish for the days yesterday but we're ready to go to Falls Lake when ever you guys reschedule.

So I had to pull the boat back out and take pics of the new cover on her showing how it wasn't fitting right so I took some more pics of the Bimini rolled out and show the patches. They did a real good job and only charged me $75 for all the fixes!

I know I still need to fix the one snap that's different now. But I'm happy with it. It'll get me by until I can have them make all the cover pieces. Like the ones below. That's all original 100% cotton, but it's been in a garage all it's life so it never rotted.
