TOPIC: ClipperCraft Logo addition

I have a nice cleaned up digital logo for the Portland Oregon based company ClipperCraft and I'd like to add it to the reference section. I attempted to load it but it is a photo not a file (!) and won't let me. I tried to contact the site admins using the 'contact' feature but it was not cooperating...might be because I am on an iPad.

Anyway, I've attached it to this post and hopefully we can get her added to the site! I also attached a picture of the actual plastic logo that a great guy sent me for free!

Only Library editors have access to edit or modify the Library, that way we ensure things are kept neat and tidy. I didn't add the ad image you attached because it is watermarked and we don't want to step on any toes by posting images to the Library that we don't have permission to use. If you found it on the World Wide Web, others will probably too. The main goal of the Library is to collect, preserve, and share information on these old boats that is otherwise not readily accessible such as old brochures, ads, and old photos from people's personal collections.

I sent them the logo and they cleaned it up and added it to their site. I ordered a set of vinyl reproductions from them. I'll attach the uncleaned up version for the site. To reiterate I didn't find it on the web, I supplied it to a reproduction company and they added it to their inventory.

I recently scored this old catalog for ClipperCraft! I realize that scans are preferred to photographs but the way the brochure is stapled it was difficult to get it flat in a scanner bed. I hope these are good enough to make it into the archives. Thanks guys!

Nice! ClipperCraft and Skippercraft of Larsen on Vashon Island WA are two of my favorite wood boat builders.
I have some Skippercraft brochures but the later models.
