Either that or put Glastron in your list that redirects to open a new page to Classicglastron, just a thought. They don't own the rights to the literature that was publicly passed out ? I have some glastron brochures I bought off internet but the pics don't scan as good as theirs. I'm having a new brochure and owners manual printed for 1958 to compliment my boat.

Not sure why we need two places to host the same files when they are already hosted over on the classicglastron site. I think all that is needed here at fiberglassics is a link in the boats section over to the other existing site under the Glastron name, as it was before.

The classicglastron site has a link on the main page redirecting back here to fiberglassics, as always.

That said, I am biased towards keeping the other site active given my role there. Other's opinion may vary and opinions are always welcome

The only reason I think we need something is that when a visitor has been told "Go to fiberglassics.com. you can find out anything you need to know about your boat" and they get here and there is nothing for their Glastron. It's kinda like going to a candy store just to find out they don't carry any m&m's. Of all the manufacturers we have info for there is NOTHING about Glastron. I can see it disappointing someone and them leaving with the "Well, they don't even have Glastron stuff so I don't need to go back there" attitude.

I'm think maybe include a single brochure or something from each of the different Glastron generations, but then direct them to classic glastron for the mega jackpot of info. Or maybe just photos of all FG member's Glastrons and no brochures... Just something to let them know that we do think Glastron and that they aren't on the sight because we don't want them or something.

Anyway, just some thoughts from my not awake yet foggy brain...

Wow, you guys are on the ball. I like it! Communication and respect. That is how life should be and we would all be happy everyday ! Keep up the good work guys. Your sites are great and without all of you working together it would be hard to find out about other sites and boats. I've been absent from the web for awhile dealing with all my health issues and relocating. But hopefully everything is going good now and stay that way. Take care everybody and enjoy life, you never know what that next second will bring!!!

The Classic Glastron Owners site is a great resource. The scans I've looked at there are low resolution, however. Sometimes it is hard to read the print in product descriptions even when enlarged. Just my opinion.

I have several Glastron catalogs from the 1960s and I am thinking of uploading them to archive.org. that may be a good place for these type of things. Archive.org plans on being around for centuries.
