Do you mean 80 horse? 88hp didn't arrive 'till the 90s I believe.

Get the correct parts manual for your engine off of ebay & do your homework to find all the superceeding numbers. all of the 89.9 cube V4 engines used the sme rings up to 1968 This would be the 75, 80, 85, 90, and 100 hp models. Be prepaired to PAY if you go through any parts house anywhere. the stuff is NLA and costly.
