Weak spark from a Evinrude 4423 14 years 4 months ago #52168

picked up a 48 Evinrude yesterday been in back of the garage they think 45 years at least ... cleaned the points but spark is weak , its a nice blue but will only jump about a 1/16th of a inch ... ideas / suggestions ?

I have manuals but with no magneto tester to check values Im left guessing , my thought is the coils are ok cuase there is spatk and the condensers are going as the spark wont jump much of a arc ...
