my father in law bought my motor and now it has no spark,i feel crappy about it,anybody have any ideas on it.
he also has the 1964 or so,simplex controls on it,because he has the enigine they fit for bigger water.i was just wondering also if it should be the one lever control,it sometimes stalls when putting it into gear, when it was running, thanks all, john

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“

Simplex control should be fine. Some have an idle adjustment screw, or adjust the idle with the throttle fitting at the motor. Might need a little tweaking for different motor.
