The 1960 V4 parts diagram at Marineengine.com shows the transom bolts to be OMC #307221. A quick search on the same website shows the part number to have been replaced by #313327 and finally 336675 / 336676 (4 3/4" transom bolt). The last two appear to be interchangeable(?) and currently available from dealers.

They work well in the driveway but not in salt / brackish water.-The idea was short lived ! I believe I have some if I can find them, never to be installed ( by me )on a motor again. Halcyondays, I've got a set (4) of four inch aluminum bolts (and nuts) you can have if you want them, just pay the shipping. (Not sure if they're long enough, if the parts list calls for 4 3/4") Email me your address if you do, I'll let you know what the $ is. I replaced mine recently with 4 1/2" Stainless Steel hardware when I installed the transom plates.
