TOPIC: Info,images or anything elsefor 1959 Evinrude 50hp

Hi guys, I am looking for any images, information and "stuff" for a 1959 Evinrude 50HP outboard, I have a 1959 Bell Boy Banshee I am restoring and have decided I need a 50HP from the same year to complete the restoration, if anyone has pictures or information on these motors please let me know.
Also looking for a motor (in any condition)for the above

P.S. is this the motor I keep seeing talked about as a fat 50??

V-4 Johnson 50's and the V-4 Evvy 50's are the Fat 50's. These are just some pics I have for my Fat-5-0 because I need to re finish it. The paint scheme is very similar to the 1959 Lark 35. There was a change in 1960 which you can see in the brochure pic but the 58's and 59's were slightly similar

Here is a pic of my '59 Fat Fifty. It's a long shaft. Not sure if the color scheme is the original. I know my dad didn't paint it but my grandfather may have.


The lower is bronze to match the bottom of the boat, 1960 18' Wagemaker Clipper. I have the original owners manual for that motor also but my scanner is on the blink. I plan on posting it as soon as I can get the scanner up and running. Boat restoration has taken priority though.
