TOPIC: 1976 55HP Rude wiring question

1976 55HP Rude wiring question 9 years 3 months ago #115200

I am mounting this motor on one of my Chris Crafts. I am using an older style control that does not have the ignition key built into the control. I will be locating the original ignition switch in the steering console. There is a black ground wire on the back of the ignition cylinder. How can I ground that wire and will the motor start if it is not grounded?
