TOPIC: '58 super sea horse

Anyone know the round about value of a '58 super sea horse if it's in good running condition. I have a chance to pick one up that's hanging on a 17' lonestar that is resting on a trailer for $300 or less if I can bargain. Ripped this pic off the net.

That RDS-20 SUPER QUIET is worth more alone than 300 bucks. = GET IT is my advice.

Satx. OK, on your recommendation. I will pick it up tomorrow. See if I can negotiate a little just for enjoyment. Sounds like the trailer and boat are a bonus. I could use the trailer since I have a glastron in my sites that needs a motor that I have and complete overhaul and a trailer.

Satx, I pulled the trigger. I think I did a pretty good deal. Got the super seahorse, a easyloader roller trailer and a Lonestar Mystic for $250. Haven't done any research yet on the boat and it's in really bad condition that will need some major surgery and topside rebuilding.
Hasn't been registered since 1996, no title or reg papers but that never stopped me yet
Not much info on the Mystic I think it's a '64. Here's a pic of a restored one I ripped off the iboats site.

All the parts are there for the motor, badges are still good with a small chip out of the back one. Chrome is in excellent cond. Mickey and Minnie will have to find a new home though.
She needs a complete tear down and rebuild but the good news is that it does shift, all levers work, cables and shift controls are free and easy.

Now I think I have to corral JimL and convince him to save all those parts he doesn't know what to do with.

Fwiw, your RDS-20 looks like mine's TWIN. = SAME condition externally, anyway.

EXCELLENT BUY for both of us, imVho.
(I've had at least a dozen people who tried to buy mine in the last 6 weeks at a substantial profit. = NOT for sale, as it's going on the 1958 Yellow Jacket glass runabout that I am getting from a friend here.
(WISHING I could find another one for the YJ, as it will take 75HP safely.)
