Bearcat list is kind of slow. Been going through some parts and was looking at the oil filter mounting and thinking of building an adapter for a more common and cheaper filter. Doesn't look too difficult to come up with something now that my lathe is backup and running. Sounds like a good winter project.

I have an aluminum adaptor, I'll dig it out and send pic.
Some guy with a barge powered by three of them made it, and some new transom brackets. Looked like some chief engineer or ex shipyard guy that was pretty handy, I got the outboards a few years back as a package and made note of some pretty handy stuff that guy did.
Anyway, I think it has a filter on it so if it does will send pics and filter number.

Dick, I made a few adapters last week to use the embarrassingly small Toyota Yaris filter. If you are still looking for one send an address to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I will send you one of these.
