Took the Bearcat powered pontoon out for the winter.
Sad moment. But will get the O'le 69 Ski Doo out for fun this winter.

Dave,
Cool vintage snowmobile.
YOu should post a pic of winter time with the trucks and those ice fishing huts on your cruising waters. THat's amazing to me, the difference between winter and summer there.
How is that new Bearcat?

I ended up putting mine up for the winter too. I wanted one last run with it Sunday but the snow and freezing temps on the pass on Mt. Hood put a halt on that.

Drained the carbs and pumped 50/50 mix of anti-freeze into the telltale until is was running out the water pickup above the prop.

I opened the port side drain plug. Hopes
that is enough.

Seems to run good but having trouble with the cooling again. Check on it next spring.

I pump the anti-freeze in just as an added precaution. I haven't quite given up on another outing yet. May make one next Friday, everything now is weather dependent!
