You're welcome. You'll just have to watch your top speed and make sure you don't over rev it. I got two of those also with one of the last engines I bought.

I'm using an 8" 4 blade on the pontoon. I might go to a 9" 3 blade ;)

Not to jack someone elses thread here but I was looking at my prop today while doing some adjustments and these numbers dont seem the same as what some of you have.

Im wondering if this is why I'm not getting to my wot RPM.

that's just the factory stamped equivalent of a PS Michigan, made my Michigan for Homelite/Bearcat.
11" pitch.
If you are running a single on a 19'er I think you want a 9, 10 max, but the tach will tell the story better than any guess.

Switched from 8" 4 blade to 9" 3 blade on my pontoon. Seems to be doing alright. Hope to hook up a tach soon. That will tell the real story. :)

Well it looks like I have a 10 pitch in the boat so I will try that one tomorrow. I have a couple more in storage so ill have to see what those ones are.

How did you like the 4 blade on your pontoon? I was toying with the idea of running one on my Uniflite but not sure if it would be right or not. I am also going to install a tach shortly to see just what i'm getting rpm wise.

The 4 blade works fine. I plan on using that if I have a pontoon full of people. Usually just two of us on it. Cruise about 3-4MPH B)

Switched to the 10 pitch and with a light load i got 4900 rpm and 22 mph. Not too bad for a big boat.

Sounds like Bill's suggestion of a 9 pitch would be perfect.

Yep I'm thinking so. Going to have to see what I have. But I am going to install the second motor here in a week or so, so then I wonder if the 10 pitch would be better for the twin setup?

Twins, cool! Had them on my 18C Power Cat.
Just came in from dinking around with the 14T with short shaft 55.
It will be interesting to see what speeds you get with the twins.
Can't beat the price.
