I get a lot of calls on the subject of how to wire the in-dash Homelite and Bearcat tachometer.

These are the only tachometers I'm aware of that are wired IN SERIES with the ignition coil, rather than IN PARALLEL as most tachometers are wired.

They work good and the way they wire up, no need to run any wires back to the engine like I did with the aftermarket one I originally hooked up. I got one with the chrome cup to mount it an top of the dash as there was no room for mounting it in the dash. Check this box to be notified of replies to this topic.
