TOPIC: 61 G3 For Sale --SOLD--

I bought this boat in July 1965. It's a 1961 Glasspar G3 with a Johnson 75HP motor. I bought it from the original owner. It's all original except way back when I added the air horn & tach. The seat was reupholstered also. Did a lot of skiing with this thing. Always kept inside. It hasn't been run since 1996. These were the "Corvette" of the water back in the 60's & on. The boat without the motor weighs around 400 pounds, 14' 7" long & measures 6' 2" at the beam. I have had it up to 43 MPH . I am asking 1500.00 for it. Comes with an engine flush adapter & an extra bronze prop. The trailer is a "Little Dude" & comes with it. The boat is in Wichita Ks

Nice looking boat!! You dont see them in such great condition that often anymore. Whats the pitch of the extra prop and the one thats on the Johnson?

I think the one on the boat is a 10 1/4 x 10 & the extra is a 10 1/4 x 12.

It looks almost exactly like our 1960 G-3. Believe it or not we actually had that same motor (1960 Johnson 75) on our G-3.

You should have no problem selling your boat.

I have received a deposit on the boat. There has been a lot of interest in it. These are great handling boats, I have enjoyed owning it----had it for 48 years !!
