Hi all,
I need a proper fit cover for my 1960 G3. Can anyone tell me where to try? Searching on the web comes up with plenty of boat cover vendors, but their search engines don't go back to 1960. Another site lists hurricane covers, but they have been out for months on their AA size (#2995) cover. Would like to get this covered before the winter rains set in. Thank you, Rick

Rick:

I found and bought a nice boat cover for our 1960 G-3 @ "Fleet Farm"
based out of Wisconsin. Here is a link for you on a thread I posted over on the classicglasspars.com website with pictures of the cover on our G-3. If the link doesn't work let me know. BTW,...how is your G-3 coming along??

Thanks John,
that was the cover I was looking at, but Fleet Farm was out of stock. I just got an email from them and it's back in, so I will be ordering one along with a motor cover (when those are back in stock). Haven't had time to work on it as i'm working on the rv first, then then the G3. For now, just want to keep the G3 protected from the elements as it is in out door storage yard. Will eventualy bring it home, but first have to move the outside water treatment unit and install a side gate for the G3. Take care, Rick.

Rick:

You are very welcome Sir! ;) I am glad "Fleet Farm" got some more of those covers in! As you probably saw, it fits darn good for no more than they cost and ours has held up very well.

Here is another "alternative" cover for the G-3, but IMHO I don't think it fits as good as the one from "Fleet Farm":

Jim:

I told a buddy of mine there you might be interested in one as your G-3 sits outside. I hope that was alright?? :( If not, you can blame me. I thought awhile back you told me you needed one?

You know what they say at "Fleet Farm" "If they don't have it, you don't need it."
The Mans Mall, I love that place!
