Welcome to the G-3 world!! Nothing else like it in boating!!

Now, no, these boats did not have a back seat. Some owners added a back seat, facing to the rear.

NOW, SIR, THAT BOAT IS NOT A 1968.

It has a center-deck, thus making it a 1959, 1960 or a 1961. These were the only three years of G-3s with the center deck. (If it has a small footrest strip across the floor in the front, it is a 1961)!!

The open deck models were 1962 thru 1968, when Larson bought out Glasspar and changed the looks of these boats.

A G-3 would be a tight squeeze for 4- Sure, they'd fit, But you'll probably want something bigger for 4 people... It is only a 13' boat!

There is something strange with the transom in the picture.
It looks like you may be buying a project boat. Be careful.

You can fit four in that style G-3. Three across the front seat
one in the back. NOT very comfortable. NOT for long rides.
NOT with big people. NOT with much gear or beer.

A G-3 is a small sporty boat not a good week-end cruiser with
more than three people.

Let him get the G3 nothing better to teach his kids to ski behind and then one of you sell him a nice clasice glass weekender boat.

By the way, the open deck and the larson built G3s are 4 seat boats with normal back to back seating
