It seems very Gloomy in the Nuts Cave, He saw all the g3's with Merc's I copied and paste from this thread and who knows what he'll do next

Here is my 1965 G3 now with a 90 HP 1984 inline 6. At the G3 Rally it had a 115 on it-but it sank one night and the 115 ended up half underwater. We did get it running but it was never the same and one cylinder was weak. I found the 90 inline 6 and put the same cover on it. The boat has Bob's hydraulic jack plate and a pad on the bottom. Runs 52 mph with 21 inch 3 blade prop and 49 with a 20 inch 4 blade.

My other G3 is a 1961 with a 85 XS Merc. Hydraulic steering and jack plate. Drives nice but not the handfull of the 1965 with inline six.

way down deep in the vault I found these..........

I think I will do a complete history on UglyPeg some day. she has been so many different boats

This was a test run,still unfinished, And I think I liked it the best

She had a 23" transom and a 17" shaft length on the flyin scott 60hp, she ran a whopping 44.6mph on GPS.
