I suspect a variety of different vendors supplied pylon kits to boat dealerships for this and many other types. The ebay item id given is invalid, no result has been sentA whole bunch of different pylon options on eBay, take your pick!

The idea of a retractable pylon is kinda cool; you'd have to have some pretty good support for the lower part, though. If your guy has a stout "firewall" in the back, that might work.

My old Seaswirl Spyder 4.3 I/O had a short pylon that was clamped to the back transom and came up thru the rear fiberglass structure, with a trim ring.
