While my boat still not ready, I went to Ivar's Salmon House after the parade for lunch and basically saw the spectacle of everybody coming back from the far end of the parade. Every conceivable boat was there, maybe in the thousands.

And yes, the classical glass was there and in strength. In short, it was an unimaginable spectacle.

Gorgeous weekend, ain't it! We were out Friday evening in my good buddy's old Raysoncraft V-drive, it's got a direct-drive Paragon box and an old-school 326 Pontiac with a lot of Nicson aluminum hardware. Fun times!

Today we took his tournament ski boat out to the local lake and thrashed, the water was icy cold but still had a great time! We watched 7 eagles flying around & "fishing" in their own style, they don't need a fishing license or punch card!

Plus my brother and his fishing buddy showed up and I got to tweak on his buddy's 85HP Merc so it would idle & accelerate better. Lotsa Fun!!

All-in-all, a fantastic start to the boating season. Much better than having 18" of ice on the lake in May! :O
