TOPIC: OMC's in the NW

Hi, I'm new to this Fiberglassics Page, but have builf 'glass boats in the NW since 73'. Am now retired and messing with some old outboards. I came across a complete 1962 Flying Scott boat, motor and trailer. I plan to start the restoration this winter. I have a 58' 50hp Evinrude that is on the boat. It has a Johnson shroud good compression, but is missing a few cowl pieces and some bracketry. Does anyone have a core motor they would like to part with. 58'-63' 50,60, or 75 hp. I have been into fiberglass production for a lot of years and would be willing to help out on any glass work in exchange for some parts. I'm North of Seattle. Later, Pat

Hey, Pat, check out this Fibercraft which was just posted in the Seattle Craigslist, it's got a cool tandem-axle trailer and an old Evinrude V4, looks like just what you're looking for! Gotta luv the fins on that boat, too!

Ed, Thanks for the info. I e mailed the guy about that boat. That definitly is the motor I'm looking for. My be it's a 75 hp power head,I've got the better gear case on my 50, so a marriage would be sweeet for my Flying Scott. Later, Pat
