TOPIC: Next boating excursion to Western NY

We plan on leaving early Friday August 19 for Westfield where my son Max now lives with his wife and baby boy. Most of our boating will be on Chautauqua Lake (and maybe the Allegheny Reservoir) over the weekend, then we'll be leaving on the following Monday to come home.

Max was very envious of his little brother getting to ride shotgun in the short regatta Ron. He couldn't come down, what with a 2 week old baby and the heat, so Gail and I made plans to drag the boat out, see a new lake, and visit our sons, daughter-in-law and grandson. Not only will Max get a WOT ride, we bought a tube and all the stuff to tow it with. My project tomorrow is mounting a 2 step transom ladder, then we hope to drag the boat up to Schroon Lake (north of Lake George) Sunday for some tubing. Mounting the ladder has taken longer to do than I thought, but what's new?
