TOPIC: Chrysler 55hp carburetor compatibility

Hello all, starting a new project and am new to outboards. I have a 1971 Chrysler 559HC but no Carburetor. The Chrysler parts manual says WB 7A , which I cannot find anywhere. I am finding so many variations for a 55 H motor that I am wondering if other carbs are compatible? Hoping to get this going and it all starts with a carb, thanks for any help.

Check EBay. It looks like there are a couple of those carbs out there.

Thanks Doug, I have I only found one. It is brand new in the original box, guy is asking 325.00 Out of my price range.

I did a search on EBay for "WB 7A carburator" and saw 2 used Tillotson WB7A carbs for $30 or less just now.

The $29.95 carb looks decent and all there. Probably just needs to be cleaned, and away you go!

The other one has a dented-up bowl and the seller says the throttle lever is bent, Couldn't tell from the pics but it probably could be carefully straightened.
