I have a chance to pick up a '79 100hp Chrysler cheap. non runner (electrical) but all parts are there including a working lu controls and cables. Is it worth $100 in parts or should I pass?

You bet and if its a distributor engine I can tell you how to replace the CD on the cheapish. These make nice good running motors with a little TLC. Or if you don't want it....
