TOPIC: 14' mirrocraft foam

hi i have a 1974 14' mirrocraft with foam under the bench seats. i needed to replace the wood under the seat because it was rotted. now i need to reattach the foam to the seat. the foam seems to be in good shape, i was thinking of using gorilla construction adhesive, then clanmping the foam to the seat. Would anyone have a tried and true way of doing this?
