I own the 1966 turbine thunderbird. I am hoping to find information or pictures of this boat.
Also anybody who might have worked at alliance machine in Ohio and possibly worked on this boat. It was the Maritime boat company |

Motors still in it? Do they run? I remember seeing this boat featured in Popular Science magazine. A big leap forward that never panned out... Larry |

They outlawed it from making world championship points. It never lost a race and never broke.
It was way ahead of its time. I am working to get some turbines back in it, rounded up a lot of the original parts. I sure would like to talk to someone who worked on this boat. I saw some posts from people who worked at maritime boats but have not been able to get a hold of them. |
