TOPIC: Alumacraft F project

Hello,
I have had an Alumacraft Model F for a while. The serial number is 17947. Can anyone tell me what year it might be?

At this point I woul dlike to clean it up a bit. It is my test bed/ mule for running all of the outboard that I work on, but I would like her to look her best.

I did a search, but did not come up with any infor on replacing the anti-skid coating in the bottom of the hull. Any advice would be helpful.

From the contact us tab on Alumacrafts website, you can ask them what year your Ser# makes it.

IIRC, that non-skid is a fairly pale light green w very fine grit. Paint prepped and use an oil based enamel w Shark grip added to it.
