TOPIC: 1952-55 Lone Star Admiral UTILITY??

1952-55 Lone Star Admiral UTILITY?? 7 years 10 months ago #129769

Friends,

Once more, I've found another Texas ORPHAN tin boat, sitting & looking unloved.

TP&WD thinks that it's a 1952 model but I seriously doubt that.

It looks like a 1955 Admiral 14-foot BUT it has NO railing around the cockpits, no windshield or even holes for a windshield.

It also has "tin bench seats" that seem to have never had upholstery, either.

I wonder if this a "non-cataloged" Admiral UTILITY hull or perhaps the little twin-cockpit was called "something else".

Do any of our fine members have a brochure that has actual photos (maybe even color photos??) of the 1952-1956 Lone Star twin-cockpit hulls, rather than "artist renderings"??

yours, satx
