"Barfinder" I have had this boat for years. I could not let it die. She was built in the 60's and used as a net boat here in eastern N.C. Before it was mine I would roll paint on it and fish nets and loved it from the day I was on her. She was sitting on 55 gallon barrels with rotted floors and trees growing in it. Today I use it as my Sunday Hot Rod. She has a 320hp 6.2 Mercruiser with a ZF63a 1:1.5 Gear. She will fly. Lots of fun to run. The "Barfinder" name comes from the shoals and sand bars around our area.

My god she is beautiful!!!!!!! I love Harkers Island boats. You boys in NC know how to build em for sure. I would love to see more pics of her.

Nothing like a fine work boat smartly converted to pleasure. Is she strip planked? Man her lines are so simple yet so elegant.

Thanks! She is strip planked. Juniper and Heart pine frames. All still in get shape. I also have a 30' Harkers Island Cabin Shrimp boat with a 453 Detroit called the "Boss Lady". She was built in 1975. I will post some pictures. She is a great winter boat with a classic bus heater. Thanks again for the comments!
