Does anyone know if the chrome ring off lower cowl from 78A fit on a 55E???

i am pretty sure it will you will have to drill the bolt holes.

I looked at a pic of the 55E and that's what I told the person looking to buy mine the same thing. Thx. Joe Do you know the answer to the ques about swivel clamp assy?? Thx, Joe

The part number for the chrome trim molding for the Mark58A and the Mark 78A are identical (29229A1) and since the bottom pan for a Mark 55E and a Mark 58AE will interchange I'd say Yes too!!!

I'm not understanding which part you are talking about. Please review the attached pictures in which I have numbered different items & report back as to which component(s) you mean. Thom

Hey Thom, Thx, I figured it out. It was just a matter of getting the bottom cowl off. Learning things the hard way but I figure it will be helpful down the road. If I can remember it!! LOL
