I found a Mark 50 for sale that is complete. Doesn't look too bad. Do they take a pressure tank? That would be the only issue to keep me from buying it, as I believe they are expensive and almost non existent. Am I correct in my assumptions?

look at the connecter if it is a hole it is pressure tank. you can use a OMC tank or convert it to pump. If memoy holds I think it is not pressure.

They are pretty easy to convert to a 1955 thru 1960+ four cylinder fuel pump, and related fuel tank that doesn't require the pressurized tank assembly.
You will just need to track down a few parts for the conversion.
I recently did this modification to a KG-9, and a Mark 50, so I can research the needed parts for you if requested.
Dave B is probably going to address this much quicker, so don't hesitate to follow his head on this.
