Well after five shots of primer and a ton of holes filled and fiberglass work I got to install the steering and the gauges for test fit see what ya think The old owner painted the boat with latex with a roller and a lot of it. So I made a mess of new holes. Dash is will be painted silver base clear

Thanks Mark
Got some pics of the paint work in lays are sprayed in silver the rest of the boat a blue green. After all this sanding and glass work it's nice to put some color to it. I am so tired of blocking. The pic of the hood is the raised bow light that I molded in. I know it's hard to see the difference in silver and gray primer.

Yes, but the hard part is behind you, now's when all that hard work starts paying off. ;)

in lays are sprayed in silver the rest of the boat a blue green.

Interesting color combo, can't wait to see some more pics as your project comes along.

the raised bow light that I molded in.

Nice touch, I like it. Tastefully done. What's your background in, custom autobody? (The Custom Craft in your profile turned out beautiful as well.)

It's Summit Racing Brand 2k Urethane Color code Bright Aqua Pearl The base Prime was a 2k urethane gray as by Summit. I used a 1.4 tip size little small, but did the trick. The gun is just a 25 dollar Walmart special my GF got me for x mas Campbell Hosfield (works fine had to use it be cause it was a gift) miss my Devilbiss but after getting used to it I paints very nice little coarse

Thanks for the compliment. Ours has all original paint and needs a resto some day. But we like "LIL TWO HORNY" just the way she is. She has 2 horns, thus the name.
Your boat is going to be awesome. can't wait to see her completed.
Nice job!!

Thanks for all the comments. Glad to have the feed back. I been sick all weekend so heading to work on it now. Gotta flip the bottom right side up again because I am worried about the stringers. The transom was solid, but the fully glassed floor had holes from the last owners and I think the could have been water there. I don't wanna take any chances so I am going to cut till I find what I am looking for also wanted to add some knees for support and raise the transom to 20 inch for a mercury 70 or 115. I have a 61 800 direct reversing but like it on the Custom Craft. I am gonna need some help with this because never did a transom replacement before.

I have learned so much reading here and could never had did the work on my boat with out all the pics that are posted and explanations. I don't comment much cause I don't feel I know enough about the work you all do to have much to say. I did install the transom and stringers tonight after grinding for weeks all glassed with 1708. (self taught by this site so much good info here) By the way I had pics I thought but the camera says other wise get some tomorrow Good Luck to everyone else working on their projects and Hey Frank get that boat wet I am dying to see it in the water  :) Thanks again

If you can shake and rattle a can and paint, you can paint buddy. Ask any question you want I am not a pro but would be glad to help haven't seen much you can't wet sand and buff out keep that in mind. Might be more work but so much cheaper.

I am just up dating some progress. Here is the bottom in primer
After priming and sanding till 11am I needed some fun so this is what i did to get away and revibed to paint
Back to the grind I got the paint on the bottom shot got to bugs in it they might buff out or they will just be along for the ride So that is is where I am in progress working on the trailer here and there. If anyone wants to play boat in Western PA let me know could use a hand rolling this back over :)

Ron I live where I80 and I79 intersect in a sleepy town called Harrisville. Got the deck on the trailer and some epoxy painted. Then called it a day.
