This may be a dumb question.

I have a yamaha 6.6 gallon fuel tank. the plastic portable type. I need a new cap for it. Anybody know if the standard caps made by Moeller will fit? I don't care about the fuel gauge in the cap, so if I can get a Moeller for 1/3rd the price of the Yamaha, that's what I'd prefer to do.

That's not a dumb question Steve, it's a good one. I have three tanks (two 6 gal and one 12 gal), but they're all Tempo brand. Those caps all interchange, but I don't know about Moeller and Yamerhammers, maybe somebody else can help out here. You got anybody close that could let you test fit one of theirs? Maybe worth a trip to the local launch site with your tank to try?
