The Mississippi is finally below flood stage after 6 weeks, so hopefully I can get her out for a test ride this weekend. I replaced the stator and cleaned up the distributor this winter and have only had it running in the driveway so far. The tach quit working last fall and I was hoping to narrow that problem down also. Connections all seem good, so I might be shopping for a new one.
