All old boats need transoms. Seafair transoms are one-day jobs. The Bill Tritt Seafair hull is one of the best ever designed and everyone who has one loves it! I've had dozens of boats including Century and Chris Craft woodies. Nothing comes close to the Seafair. Search carefully. Try to get one with good gelcoat, good bulkheads, and glass stringers. You can still get them cheap for NOW!
