Smith Mountain Lake chapter has been chosen as the host chapter for this meeting.
Thursday, June 7, 2018 – ACBS Exec Committee Meeting and chapter welcome reception
Friday, June 8, 2018 – ACBS Board of Directors Quarterly Meeting
Saturday, June 9, 2018 – Smith Mountain Lake Chapter mini boat show
Closest airports are Roanoke and Richmond, Virginia, both serviced by major airlines, or take the adventurer’s route by car over the Blue Ridge Parkway through the Shenandoah National Forest.
The meeting venue has been confirmed as Mariner’s Landing. This is primarily a two and three bedroom condo
style facility with limited single rooms. Some sharing of condos will likely be required. Rates are currently
being finalized with a target of less than $175 per bedroom per night.
Although not in conjunction with Smith Mountain Lake’s annual boat show, chapter President Alan Frederick is
putting together a boating event for us to explore beautiful Smith Mountain Lake and show us why it’s called
“the jewel of the Blue Ridge area”. Details to follow.
