The Evinrude Motors Division of Outboard Marine Corporation (OMC) issued many bulletins to supplement and update the service manuals. Unlike the Johnson division, the Evinrude Service Department recommended dealers to accumulate and collect the service bulletins in reference binders. Johnson service bulletin updates were incorporated into new editions of the Johnson service manual; therefore for the Evinrude dealer, a collection of service bulletins was a valuable and often-used reference.
